    The Future of the Built Environment We are thrilled to see the news that 20 house builders have signed up for the Homes for Nature commitment. This initiative is set to drive sustainability and innovation in the industry. We look forward to its positive impact, helping to build a greener, more sustainable future. Starting in September 2024, the Homes for Nature commitment will see bird-nesting bricks, hedgehog highways, and other wildlife-friendly features integrated into new homes. With 20 builders, covering 90,000 homes annually, already on board, this initiative aims to support swifts and other species by providing over 300,000 nesting sites. Developed by the industry-led On-Site Nature Measures Working Group and backed by the Future Homes Hub, this move complements the Biodiversity Net Gain regulations, creating thriving habitats within urban developments.     Yesterday two of our team Abi Fairholm (Marketing Manager) and Richard Harris (Property Communications Director) went to TheBusinessDesk.com Property Lunch, hosted at Fazeley Studios in Digbeth. It was great to hear about the BBC's plans to revitalise the area and establish a media hub for the West Midlands. The new BBC home will be their most sustainable building yet, setting a benchmark for other media providers. The BBC, represented yesterday by Hayley Valentine, is clearly dedicated to strengthening media connections in the Midlands, exciting times. Thank you also to Stoford Developments Ltd and Gerard Ludlow for their insightful contributions to the exciting development of the old Typhoo Tea Factory. We can't wait to watch all the progress over the next few years. Our team met some great people, so a shout-out to them, including Nadia Hanoush, Steve Dyson and Andrew Green. Always great to get our team out and about building relationships. Thank you to all who welcomed us and had a chat with us. A great event and we look forward to seeing you at the next one.

Our office library, inspired by our resident bookworm Bruce Hutton, is a testament to this. Bruce is always encouraging us to explore new ideas and perspectives. To keep that spirit of curiosity alive, we’re excited to share a few of our top reads and hopefully spark your interest too. We’d love to hear about the books you’re reading and the key insights you’ve gained. Our library is always looking for great additions!     Today Gymshark launches our new global brand platform. The campaign celebrates the niches and nuances of the gym sub-culture. It features stringer vest nip slips, bum scrunch shorts, training to failure, callous chewing, all served with a side of chicken, rice, and broccoli. Developed alongside apna studios, it is full of IYKYK truths, speaking directly to our customer and community. We know their world better than any ‘sportswear’ brand. Because we’re not a sports brand. We’re a gym brand. We are Gymshark. We Do Gym.
