✋ Hands up... this is something I am not doing enough of Last week, I spent half a day on one of our DRT services, FoxConnect. Delivered together with Leicestershire County Council and National Express Transport Solutions 💡 In 5 hours on bus, I learned more about the impact of DRT than I have in 6 months behind a desk forget the PpVh 📉 forget the cost per trip 📊 For once, let us think about the #truestories and real life impact public transport can deliver 🚐 A mother who has been able to go back to work, as the grandmother can babysit the grandchild for her, both of them using FoxConnect, one to get from home to home, one to get from home to work An elderly passenger who had their local bus service cut and had not been out of the house in three months... Now gets out four times a week, to visit friends and family I would encourage anyone in sales to spend time using and observing the product you sell and anyone in public transport to get out and realise the real life value that is being delivered Something I hands up do nowhere near enough of, but something I will certainly be doing more and more 🚀 Share your #publictransportstories below #DRT #publictransport
