Warm and Well grant funding is now available for owner-occupiers and private rented properties in the Telford and Wrekin Council area. You may be eligible if: ✅ your property has an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D, E, F or G (D or E for private rentals) ✅ someone in the household receives a means-tested benefit or the gross combined household income is less than £50,000 per year. Private tenants can apply for the grant with their landlord’s permission. Landlords will be asked to contribute to any work carried out. We will be at the Ludlow Community & Family Event this Thursday 18th July at Ludlow Youth Centre, 2:30 – 6pm. Come and see us for free and impartial energy advice, including reducing energy usage and bills, keeping warm in winter, improving your home’s energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.

This week the MEA team came together for our annual staff away day. Lots of great discussions, presentations and thought-provoking workshops. We focussed on everything our charity has achieved and how we can continue to support our local communities for years to come.

Looking for a day out this Sunday? We’ll be offering free, impartial energy advice at Ludlow Green Festival on Sunday 14th July, 10am-4pm at Castle Square, SY8 1AX. With ‘Navigating the Storm’ as this year’s theme, the festival has a variety of sustainably produced food and drink, arts and crafts and live music to keep your entertained. We hope you can make it!
