We have always been a purpose-driven company. We started Marshmallow when we found out how unfair insurance prices are for people who move to the UK. Purely because the industry hasn’t given this huge cohort of people a second’s thought, and isn’t set up to price them properly. So far, we’ve helped 100,000s of people get a fairer deal on their car insurance. We’ve done this by building our own technology, developing pricing and fraud models that let us cater to their unique experiences, and investing time in getting to know them. So what’s next? We know there are millions of marginalised customers out there. And we know that they face unique problems that most companies aren’t even aware of. We believe that our future is helping these people by learning about their experiences, and building our company around their needs. Solving important problems for the people who need it most. I was lucky enough to head out to Budapest again last week to spend the week with the Marshmallow Policy Fraud Validation Team (lead by the brilliant Mate Tomor and Arnold Imgrund). To say it was a productive trip would be an understatement! Always great to see everyone in real life and to chat to over some great craft beer 🍺. I was out there solo this time around which was actually awesome. It gave me a great opportunity to see the sights and test out the running track on Margaret Island 🏃♂️🏝️. #Budapest #team #marshmallow #policyfraud
