Congratulations to the Stroudley Walk team for achieving an Outstanding score of 𝟰𝟴 in their recent Considerate Constructors Scheme audit👏 In addition to receiving full marks in the audit, the team was awarded two innovation points for the provision of Icle tests, and one best practice point for the use of Rock Steady Board Holders. As part of Men's Health Week, we launched an initiative offering free Icle Tests to employees complemented by informative resources, men's health forums, and a comprehensive poster campaign, aimed at raising awareness and encouraging early detection and prevention of prostate and urinary cancers. Enhancing site safety, the Rock Steady Board Holders prevent accidents by offering round the clock protection from the potential hazard of accidental stack tip-over, protecting visitors and contractors on site.   Well done to all involved, this is the highest score received by McAleer & Rushe to date and is a testament to the team's unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation and presenting a positive image for the Construction Industry. We were thrilled to recently host our ‘Breaking Ground’ ceremony on the new Maldron Hotel at Croke Park for the GAA, adding to the series of celebrations at GAA HQ this month🏆🙌 Joined by GAA President Jarlath Burns, the ceremony celebrated an exciting milestone with construction officially commencing on the new €40m Maldron Hotel, which will be run by Dalata Hotel Group. Nearly 20 years after we delivered the Croke Park Hotel on Jones Road for the GAA, we look forward to once again working closely with them to deliver a modern 200-bedroom hotel just 150 metres from the stadium. As work continues apace at our new integrated retirement community development in Royal Tunbridge Wells, the team have continued to build relationships locally by contributing to the community🛠️🌳. The team recently carried out volunteering efforts for AGE UK TUNBRIDGE WELLS, a local independent charity offering support for older people in the area, including cleaning and tidying up the garden area as well as planting new greenery at their main office & day centre. Eoin, Site Manager, and Sean, Project Surveyor, also presented a donation to Trinity Theatre, a vibrant and cultural arts venue, supporting their re-roofing scheme for their beautiful & historic building where we had the privilege of hosting our Meet The Buyer event not long ago. ‘𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱’ 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹   We recently hosted a ‘breaking ground’ ceremony in conjunction with the GAA to mark the commencement of construction on the new €40m Maldron Hotel at Croke Park. Designed to achieve a ‘BREEAM Very Good Rating’, the modern hotel will comprise 200-bedrooms, a business centre, a state-of-the-art gym, a bar and restaurant as well as environmental features such as green roofs, air source heat pumps and EV charging points. Forming part of the Clonliffe Lands Masterplan, the hotel will be operated by Dalata Hotel Group, Ireland’s largest hotel operator, under its Maldron Hotels & Partners brand, delivering a modern 4-star hotel offering high-quality accommodation. Commenting on the ceremony, Martin Magee, Managing Director of McAleer & Rushe said: “It was a pleasure to join the GAA President Jarlath Burns to cut the first sod together and celebrate this important milestone with the key stakeholders involved. Congratulations to Metroline Ltd on the successful opening of their new Brentford Bus Garage in West London.   We are proud to have played a part in building a new purpose-built facility that will critically support some of London’s busiest routes for many years to come. The creation of this new bus depot is a key element of the enabling works for Phase 3 of the Brentford Lock West waterside neighbourhood by Muse Places and the Canal & River Trust, which includes a new pedestrian and cyclist bridge, transforming an underutilised area along the Grand Union Canal.   The new facility, modernised on every front, stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts between all partners involved, and it’s gratifying to see the positive impact it will have on the community, commuters and Metroline employees.

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁   We are thrilled to have recently celebrated the ‘Topping Out’ of ‘SEVEN’ at Southbank Place, the final phase of the Southbank Place development by Braeburn Estates, a joint-venture between Qatari Diar Europe and Canary Wharf Group. Topped out at 13-storeys above two basement levels, the building incorporates stylish river view balconies to the west, and amenity spaces on the ground floor. We are proud to celebrate this construction milestone with the entire team. Since construction commenced in April 2023, it is astounding to see how rapidly this significant scheme has progressed from vision to reality. Once complete, this prime riverside development will provide 92 apartments as well as 18,600 sq. ft. of retail space, overlooking the London Eye, Big Ben and Houses of Parliament. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 | 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸   We are pleased to share the excellent progress made in the construction of a new neighbourhood at Stroudley Walk for Muse and Poplar HARCA. The residential scheme, spanning four blocks, will provide 274 all-electric new homes in Bromley-by-Bow, alongside retail, commercial and community spaces as well as public realm improvements, including a stunning new pocket park.   Since construction commenced in March 2023, all four blocks have rapidly advanced with the concrete frames in Blocks A, C and D now complete, while Block E has reached the 18th floor. Roof works and scaffolding strike are underway in Block C, and fitout and façade works are ongoing up to Level 10 in Block E.
