This month is Plastic Free July and at Portal Security we believe in holding ourselves and each other accountable in doing the right thing and aim to raise awareness across our business, particularly with our frontline teams on how we can reduce the plastic we use, not only at work, but also at home! Did you know? - Around 11 million tonnes of plastic enter the ocean each year. - 8 million pieces of plastic enter the ocean every day. - Over a million seabirds and 100,000 mammals are killed each year by plastic debris. We aim to help reduce waste in numerous ways such as, our Portal water bottles, recyclable bags and plastic free stationery through to the uniform we provide being made from 45 recycled plastic bottles. ‘Small Steps, Big Difference’ Massive thanks to our teams and some clients that participated in the photos! #PlasticFreeJuly #ReducePlasticWaste Adrian Moore MSyl David Ward CSyP FSyl Michael Goldie Declan Goldie Craig Chalmers David Grant Caitlin Monks Alison Docherty Francesco Venza Tony Woodland MAPP Stockley Park TW Corporatewear

Stockley Park's Christmas Donation Drive was once again in support of the Topaz midwifery team at Hillingdon Hospital. The team supports mothers who have complex psychological and/or additional social needs throughout their pregnancy and postnatal period, and unfortunately sometimes do not have the items needed for themselves or their child. Items Stockley Park occupiers donate range from toothbrushes, shampoo, and body wash, to nappies, baby grows and the all important Sudocrem. The Lead Nurse for the team said; "From all of us in the Topaz midwifery team, a huge thank you to all in the management team at Stockley Park Estates and the tenants on the park who donated so generously again to the women and families in our care. As you know, the cost of living is hitting all of us but even more so the most vulnerable people in our society. This will be such a help to our mothers enabling us to care beyond what NHS budgets can allow. Thank you all so very much."
