We are back on the roads with a new pilot together with HIVED! 🚐📦 We will be fitting our 4th generation prototype (TC04) to 5 of HIVED’s all-electric vehicle delivery vans in London from August, so keep an eye out! 👀⚡️With the growing popularity of electric vehicles and the increasing efficiency of combustion engines, tyre wear is expected to become the number one source of vehicle pollution in the coming years 🛞 “This collaboration aligns perfectly with our mission to not only provide the best customer experience possible, but to also provide one that minimises our impact on the planet. 🛞💨 The Tyre Collective exhibited at the The Goodwood Group Festival of Speed in West Sussex 🇬🇧 this past week, which attracts over 200,000 motorsport enthusiasts every year. Future Lab's theme this year is "Technology for a Better World" and we can't think of a better place to showcase our tyre wear capture devices! • 🌟 Apart from industry leaders, over 1,000 students visited Future Lab, and the buzz was all about tyre wear and non-exhaust emissions! 👫 We were shocked at how many visitors already knew about tyre wear as an environmental problem and how EVs are producing more — consumer awareness on tyre wear is definitely on the rise, and it's incredible to see the future of true zero-emission mobility taking shape ♻️ Commercial fleet owners, vehicle manufacturers, suppliers - what are you waiting for? • 🏎️ Huge thanks to Lucy Johnston for inviting us and Amey Turner, This Is Catapult and the The Goodwood Group team for making our vision a reality! Road transport continues to be a major source of particulate emissions, made up of both exhaust emissions and non-exhaust emissions (brake, tyre and road wear) 🚗🛞💨 We ran 10 pilots with industry partners to capture tyre wear at the source and work with leading research institutions to fill knowledge-gaps for future policy. Exciting news! 🎉 The Tyre Collective has teamed up with Rivian to pilot our tyre wear capturing device on their fully electric delivery vans. From October to November 2023, we drove almost 8000 miles, capturing tyre wear before it could enter the environment. This collaboration with Rivian marks a huge milestone for us, bringing our technology to the heart of Silicon Valley.
