Arthur is exclusively partnering with a Global Insurer to hire an Assistant Underwriter.
Role
This role will be part of their Property & Liability team, contributing to the team's business plan and collaborating with underwriters and other departments to achieve strategic goals. Day to day you will:
Obtain and underwrite Property and Liability renewals within your underwriting authority.
Provide underwriting control and active support to a diverse range of clients.
Offer comprehensive support to allocated clients throughout the entire policy lifecycle.
Attend renewal and new business meetings with brokers and clients.
Continue developing skills to provide technical knowledge and contribute to drafting policies and other documentation.
Provide accurate information to the in-house processing team regarding all aspects of the policy.
Engage actively in communication and involvement in claims matters.
We are seeking candidates with 2-3 years of experience in an underwriting team. Proficiency in Property insurance is necessary, and familiarity with Liability would be advantageous.
Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills are crucial for success in this role.
