Was using spectrum router, terrible for gaming. EERO mesh system was a huge improvement. No issues. Easy to set up. Pricey but worth the money, especially if you are having loss of signal or buffering issues.

I purchased a 3 pack of the Pro 6 from Amazon for $239.00. My provider is Sparklight in Arizona and they provide a Pro 6E with there router. I now cover a 1 acre lot and get over 300mb from house to shop at back of the acre lot. Great system.

The routers themselves are very easy to setup, just as easy to expand your network as needed and the Eero app for managing is one of the most robust and polished I've seen for a router.
Sadly its not all completely perfect. If the router loses Internet you can't seem to wirelessly restart it via the app, even when its transmitting LAN, you have to manually power cycle it. Would be nice to fix. And besides that, they try to upsell you on additional features for the router, a few of them actually being nice (historical usage data and a backup signal), but for 100 dollars a year..? Maybe I could do it for 30~60$ a year, *maybe*..

When they work they work great but there are serious issues for people with legacy devices. I’ve owned Eero Pro and now Eero Pro 6. Both setup easy and worked incredibly well. Then something changed. The Eeros changed wifi channels and not for an open channel but one of the most congested in my area. I scanned for wifi networks and theres the proof. Legacy devices that worked for weeks with no problem suddenly wouldn't connect. You cant do anything to these except move them around. I’ve found a daily reboot of the network seems to correct the legacy issue. If you’re considering these please research to see if they will work for you but rest assured your most likely will have some problems down the road unless everything using your network is new but then again, who knows. If you need a rock solid network you may do better elsewhere. One last point, even though its a network, if your internet provider goes down so does your network unless you pay extra. Yep, subscription garbage.

Have been using these routers for a few months now. The routers are quite stable and the eero app provides great visibility into the network. Eero does require you to subscribe if you want to view data usage for more than a week in the past and other advanced functionality, but for most users the free version seems sufficient.

If you expect to have some control of the device features that are common for routers and Access Points then plan to pay extra recurring fees. Expect basic functionality.
