Tourism in the Alpilles: Saint Rémy de Provence, Les Baux de Provence, Fontvieille, Alpilles | Avignon et Provence

The Alpilles

An enchanting natural site in the northwest of the Bouches du Rhône department, in Provence. This chain of limestone mountains culminates at 498 metres and offers a panorama that stretches from the Mont Ventoux to the Cévennes, from the Sainte Victoire Mountain to the Camargue.
So much to see and visit: the citadel of Les Baux de Provence and the Carrière de Lumières, the ancient Roman site of Glanum and the Antiques in St-Rémy de Provence, Fontvieille, famous for Daudet's windmill... and many other villages with authentic charm.
