A good gaming monitor can be the difference between your team’s win and loss, as you need to be able to clearly see your enemies. For gamers, it is important to get a good gaming monitor with a large display and a high refresh rate.
I have been using the ViewSonic VX3219 2K PRO for a few days now, and here is my detailed review of the gaming monitor.

Pros

Starting with the design, the ViewSonic VX3219 2K PRO comes with a minimalistic design and looks like a regular monitor from the front. It comes with four LED lights at the back but they have been placed elegantly and look good. This makes it possible to use it professionally as well as for gaming.
It features a lightweight design, weighing 7.9 kg with the stand, which is decent when you consider that it comes with a large 32-inch display. It can be easily moved and carried around when needed.
The monitor features an all-plastic back in black colour. It comes with thin bezels on the three sides with a large chin at the bottom that features ViewSonic branding. As mentioned earlier, the back comes with four LED strips.
You also get the ViewSonic branding at the back, which is larger than the front. The monitor’s stand is not height adjustable, meaning you cannot adjust the height according to your needs. It does come with tilt support, which allows you to make slight changes.
While it would have been good to get a height adjustable stand, the large display meant that I did not need to change the height.
It comes with physical control buttons on the bottom right corner, which allow you to control the monitor’s settings.
It also comes with a headphone holder on the left side, which is great as most gamers use a big headphone and sometimes it is a hassle to store them.
Display and performance
Coming to the display, the ViewSonic VX3219 2K PRO monitor features a large 32-inch IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. It offers a refresh rate of 165 Hz, 250 nits of brightness and a response time of 0.43ms.
The monitor comes with AMD FreeSync Premium technology that ensure that you can have a blur-free gaming experience with minimal stuttering and no tearing.
I played fast-paced games like The Finals and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on the monitor. It is a treat to play games, especially fast-paced first person shooters on the monitor.
The gameplay was smooth and there was no motion blur or tearing. The high refresh rate and adaptive sync ensure that you have an excellent gaming experience.
The monitor comes with several pre-sets, including FPS Game, RTS Game, Movie and more, allowing you to easily set the settings for your favourite game.
Verdict
If you are a gamer in the market for a monitor with a large display and a high refresh rate around ₹25,000, the ViewSonic VX319 2K PRO is a good option. The monitor ticks a lot of the right boxes, including a large display, high resolution, high refresh rate and more, but misses out on things like a speaker and height adjustable stand.
If you are okay with these omissions, the ViewSonic VX3219 2K PRO is a great option.
