Our second HQ and major hub for Government Energy Policy, is based at Trinity Bridge House in Salford. Just a short walk from Manchester City Centre, and with amazing transport links, our Salford office is the perfect home for colleagues from all over the North West and across the Pennines.

DESNZ is part of the Darlington Economic Campus. The campus brings together a number of different Government departments, to build a pipeline of talent in the local area. At the Darlington Economic Campus, they are reimagining how we work so that people from across the region can play an active role in shaping the future of the country.

We offer a number of mentoring and coaching schemes that colleagues can take part in, so that you can be provided with valuable insight and feedback from experienced colleagues. These include schemes specifically for individuals from minority groups.

All of our colleagues can make use of the DESNZ Academy, which provides easy access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities. From line manager training to seminars on Energy & Net Zero, there is something here for everyone.
