One of the most anxiety producing and also the most effective team building my team and I participated in was learning improv techniques with a focus on their applicability to business. Before we started the team was very worried about their abilities however once the workshop started, it was rooted in play and as we were given permission and encouragement to let go of our anxieties and just be in the moment and PLAY - an incredible transformation happened - the team became joyful, connected, trusting and energized. It was fascinating to watch. We spend so much of our time and energy doing the important work of work, having the opportunity to have fun along the way is so important to our wellness, team health and sustainability.
