Celebrating our First 90 Years: 1934-2024! We started with 35 members and $59 in a desk drawer, as the Western Cartridge Company Employees Credit Union, and have grown to serve over 63,000 members with 10 branches. While our products and services have expanded, technology has evolved, and our name has changed to reflect the geographic footprint of the diverse members and communities that we serve, our commitment to our members and communities remains the same. Thank you to the RiverBend Growth Association for helping us to kick off our celebration with a ribbon cutting on April 10th! We are looking forward to our anniversary celebrations with our members, employees, and business partners over the coming months! Congratulations to our President and CEO, Alan Meyer, on his induction to the Credit Union House Hall of Leaders in Washington, D.C. Inductees to the Hall of Leaders are exceptional individuals that are dedicated to perpetuating the credit union mission and philosophy. The Hall of Leaders provides lasting recognition to credit union leaders whose commitments have made a significant impact on the credit movement at a local, state, or national level. Nominated by the Illinois Credit Union League and their President & CEO, Tom Kane, Alan joins a distinguished group of inductees, along with 15 other nation-wide credit union leaders this year.   The following summary of Alan’s dedication was shared at the induction ceremony: Alan Meyer is a champion for credit union advocacy at all levels and sets an example of engagement and support for credit union leaders. Meyer fully commits to the boards and committees in which he is involved and shares the work and impact of those groups within his reach and communities. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Executive Director to lead our team. The Executive Director will be responsible for implementing the Center's mission and policies through effective administration of office personnel, financial management, collaboration with related agencies, and oversight of volunteer and community education programs. This role is pivotal in representing the Child Advocacy Center within the community and fostering strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Our CEO and a few managers started the day off with a power-packed breakfast. It was inspiring to see the dedication and passion they bring to their roles everyday. There were some great discussions about our team's goals and how we can work together to achieve them. Building strong relationships with our managers is key to driving success in our organization. Excited for what the future holds!
