We recently had the privilege of hosting the NYC-DOE Superintendents' Retreat, welcoming approximately 100 NYC Superintendents and their deputies to the #911Museum. The event commenced with inspiring remarks from several insightful speakers: Beth Hillman, President and CEO of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum; Jennifer Glick, 9/11 Memorial & Museum Board Member, family member, and NYC-DOE teacher; Sonia Agron, a 9/11 recovery worker and docent; and James Hendon, Commissioner of the NYC Department of Veterans’ Services. During the retreat, we introduced the superintendents to the wide range of educational programs we offer, both onsite and online, designed for teachers and students. We believe these programs are vital in enriching educational experiences and deepening the understanding of 9/11 and its enduring significance. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and supporting the invaluable work of NYC superintendents and educators. To learn more about our educational resources: https://ow.ly/5pfY50SItCM

As the #ParisOlympics begin, did you know that the Naudet brothers, famed for their gripping documentary of 9/11, were selected to produce the Official Film of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris? As we celebrate the spirit of the #Olympics, we also prepare to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of 9/11. You can register for free for our annual 9/11 Anniversary Digital Learning Experience, where Jules and Gédéon Naudet recount their experiences from the day that changed our world. The program includes an on-demand, 30-minute film highlighting first-person accounts of the attacks and their aftermath, and a live chat with Museum staff throughout the day. The film will be available beginning Wednesday, September 11. Register for free: https://ow.ly/2POL50SIANU #911MuseumEd

We're grateful for all the support as we remain focused on our mission: remembering the nearly 3,000 killed in the attacks on the World Trade Center and educating the next generation about the legacy of 9/11.
