Alchemy was honored to support the Cleveland Coating Society - CCS Sink or Swim Symposium and support our customers in the Buckeye State! 👨🔬 The Symposium topic? The Year of the Formulator. We had Harris Tolber, our Business Development Manager, and Keri Keinath, our Director of Enterprise Accounts, on the ground reporting back key highlights. 💡 The opening talk was given by Andrew Recker on Intentional Innovation through "Fail Fast" Formulating. His speech defined the concept of innovation and addressed the value of failing quickly to determine what works and what doesn't when formulating. 🚫 We always recommend that formulation-focused companies have preset "kill criteria," so that projects can be quickly wound down, learned from, and project teams reallocated to work with higher likelihood of success. Books mentioned: ❓ "Start with 'Why'?" by Simon Sinek 🛫 "How To Fly a Horse" by Kevin Ashton 👨🔬 "The Ten Faces of Innovation" by Tom Kelley Another important highlight was from Glenn Barone of PATCHAM FZC on What Sustainability Means. ⚖ Fulfilling the needs of current generations without compromising the needs of future generations, while ensuring a balance between economic, environmental, and social well-being. A big balancing act, indeed! ♻ What does "promote environmental well being" entail? - Minimize waste - Reduce VOC emissions - Use renewable materials - Conserve energy and resources - Contribute to the circular economy Key Formulating Goals = products need to meet regulations and address climate change objectives, without compromising performance, and they simply cannot be more expensive or they won't sell. 🎯 Overall, lots to optimize as a Formulator. If you are interested to hear how Alchemy Cloud, Inc. directly addresses these needs in our ELN, LIMS, AI and DOE solutions, we would love to hear from you. #case #innovation #ccs #formulator #ELN #LIMS #AI #DOE

Sasha Novakovich, our Founder & CEO, was thrilled to participate on the AI panel at Rethinking Materials last week to address: How AI can enhance and accelerate the development of new products, components, and materials for a circular economy. Keri Keinath, our Director of Enterprise Accounts, summarized three key panel takeaways for companies in the Plastics & Packaging ecosystem that are leaning into AI: ⚡ AI is enabling the reduction of time and cost across the entire Value Chain from materials discovery to product development through end of life. ♻ AI is also being used to improve the Carbon Footprint of products and processes all the way to increasing recyclability. Great quote from Carlos Ludlow-Palafox that the value chain isn't linear, it is circular - we need to close the loop and have materials companies need to be engaged with recycling companies. 📊 Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) will be increasingly important with the transition pathway and 2030 targets. It would be great if there were a consistent standard, so every company operated on a level playing field and the assessment could be automated. The panel was moderated by Richard Platt, ERM, and joined by AI experts: Nuha Siddiqui, erthos® Sasha Novakovich, Alchemy Cloud, Inc. Neil D'Souza, Makersite Carlos Ludlow-Palafox, Greenback Recycling Technologies A big thank you to Rethinking Materials for hosting this important event and to Rachel Myall and Michaela Mutinelli Da Silva for your organization and professionalism! #AI #CircularEconomy #RethinkingMaterials #Sustainability

Sasha Novakovich, our CEO, will speaking on an expert panel at the Rethinking Materials Conference in London next week. Our WHOLE company is passionate about the topic: "Embracing AI-Driven Solutions to Accelerate the Transition to a Circular Economy" 💡 How can #AI revolutionize the development of sustainable materials and end products? ♻ What opportunities does AI offer to optimize #CircularInfrastructure and enhance recyclability? 🔍 What successes have we seen applying AI to traceability of #RecycledMaterials to provide supply chain transparency? Additionally, Alchemy Cloud, Inc.will have a booth where Keri Keinath, our Director of Enterprise Accounts, will be available to show conference attendees how we embed #AI and #DOE in our electronic lab notebook, so materials scientists can leverage these capabilities in real-time at the bench. #AI #CircularEconomy #RethinkingMaterials #Sustainability

Day 1 at The European Networking Group's NPD & Innovation Summit started off strong with a fantastic line up of industry leaders and ecosystem partners! Sasha Novakovich contributed with a discussion on the transformative impact that running AI and DOE in real-time can have in research and product development. Providing chemists and materials scientists these powerful tools in the normal course of their work - without needing a data science or statistics degree - will enable them to conduct broader testing of a problem space with FEWER tests. Lots of ladder studies can help find local maxima. Multivariate optimization determines the global maximum. Alchemy Cloud, Inc. is proud to participate in the knowledge sharing. Here's to Day 2! #chemicalindustry #ai #innovation #npd #collaboration
