Thanks again to all the users who joined us for the interactive tour of our Mills Road facility yesterday! After starting off with a presentation from APG's Director of Technology Aaron Frost on our history and approach to gas turbine component repair, the users went on a guided tour through our repair shop to see the processes and equipment used on rotor, bucket, blade, nozzle, and vane repair. Alongside those stations, APG was able to display the coating booths used to apply APG's TBC to improve component performance and repairability. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or if you would like a tour of our facilities in the future. Remember to stop by Booth 6 at this year's LTUG for more information on how APG can support you on your components and services!

Some General Electric A-10 Steam Turbines are experiencing axial rubbing of the high lands in the N2 Packing area which allows steam to leak through. This causes combined cycle efficiency to drop and increases maintenance costs as well. Allied Power Group has developed a proven A10 N2 Packing Solution that addresses the root cause of the issue and allows you to regain lost performance. If you would like to learn more, please contact your APG Sales Representative or send an email to sales@alliedpg.com.
