Even ground level photos at a distance indicate the colossal scale of the new Ace Hardware Corporation Retail Support Center at the KCI 29 Logistics Park! We're wrapping up structural steel inspections now, including bolt torquing, and also focusing on paving for loading and parking areas. What a project, and many more to come at the expansive Hunt Midwest warehouse and commercial office space development site spanning 20+ million square feet. Clayco is making great progress on the exterior elements of the new Ace Hardware Corporation project. Roofing is now into the final phase of the project, the heavy duty paving on the south side is nearly complete, concrete curbs around the truck paving areas are complete, dock equipment and overhead doors are nearly 50% complete. Work on the interior continues in the office areas and the overhead mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection system in the warehouse are on schedule.

We had a great time teaming with with the KC Current on Friday night to bring awareness to women's cancers! The highlights: – Before the game, fans stopped by our tent to learn more about women's cancer and filled out "I Kick Cancer for" cards to show their support for family and friends affected by the disease. – Linda Lyon, advocate for women's cancer awareness, passed the ceremonial first kick to Jeff Wright, senior vice president of Cancer Services, The University of Kansas Cancer Center. – Represented by hematologist and medical oncologist Dr. Anne O'Dea, the Women's Cancer Center was honored as one of three of United Way of Greater Kansas City's Waymakers. – Radiation oncologist Dr. Melisa Boersma participated in Helzberg Diamonds' kick game at halftime.
