Last week the City of Indio Planning Commission unanimously approved a project Atlas has been working hard on for the last year and a half. The Liberty Star Fields Affordable Housing Project is approved to design 206 units across (2) 4-story buildings along Highway 111. The project will provide 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units to local families. The site will also contain a pool, community building with public service offerings, as well as A LOT of underground stormwater storage! In the meeting, the Community Development Director shared with the public that the applicant worked to be sensitive to the neighbors behind them and sensitive to the city as a whole. We love seeing the dirt move at this new senior care facility in San Bernardino! Atlas Civil Design provided site engineering and is now teaming with Golden Construction, Inc. on the construction phase of this much needed project.

Californians need affordable housing now more than ever, and we’re working hard to make homes a reality. The recently completed Cedar Lane Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) project and neighboring Cedar Lane Family Apartments project, in Yuba County, provide a total of 149 new units to families in need. 🏠🏠🏠 Atlas is proud to be part of bringing much needed affordable housing and corresponding services to the State! The Cedar Lane projects were permitted expeditiously, in a 6-month time span, and were successfully constructed with only 3 RFIs! Developed by Pacific West Communities, Inc., Civil component lead by Atlas Senior Project Manager Tyler Johnson and Senior Project Engineer Greg Howell. We couldn't be more charged to announce the opening of our latest project, the new Tesla Dealership in San Luis Obispo, CA. Developed by Rich Development Enterprises, L.L.C. and designed by Chipman Design Architecture, this project is electrifying. Our team coordinated closely with the City of SLO to fill in retention basins and place 90k cubic feet of storm water storage below the parking areas.
