Sawtooth’s Expansion Joint Cover division has been hard at work on the Vancouver Waterfront at Robertson & Olson Construction, Inc. Terminal One Blocks A and C project. While we have had multiple divisions taking part in this project (Below Grade Waterproofing, Traffic Coatings, Tank Waterproofing, Joint Sealants, and Firestopping), we would like to take some time and recognize our seismic EJC division. This project has been headed by Junior Bamba and Samuel Kounz and they have made great progress installing Balco, Inc. systems on Skybridge exterior verticals, roof joints, and interior joints. This exterior face seal system shown here allows for 50% expansion and contraction all while keeping a watertight seal.
