On Tuesday, a Philadelphia federal court denied a request to stay the FTC’s non-compete Final Rule, set to take effect on September 4. This ruling contrasts with a Texas court's recent decision to pause the Final Rule pending further review. The Final Rule bans non-compete clauses for most workers which will impact an estimated 30 million employees.
