Big Path Capital's Director of Investment Banking, Christie Lange, is no stranger to assisting clients with capital raises and sale strategies, two major milestones for any business owner. She understands the importance of trust and transparency in these situations and how daunting they can be. She offers three key steps to take when considering raising capital or selling a business: 1. Align yourself with the right advisors well ahead of a transaction. This can include an accountant/tax advisor, corporate and mergers and acquisitions attorney, investment banker, and financial advisor. 2. Get your house in order. Validate your growth, market position, and team strength, and be prepared to articulate a clear near-term growth plan. 3. Be clear on your goals and seek the advice of those who have gone through similar processes.
