Cannae HR Solutions - Human Resource Shared Services/Outsourcing and Related Project-Based Consulting

Sturgeon Technology Services recently hosted a visit by young adults from the “myLife” program at the Emory Autism Center to interview for job opportunities. Sturgeon is one of several companies I work with on a volunteer basis to match highly motivated individuals across the Autism Spectrum with the right employers and roles. There are many such individuals out there with a wide range of skills and abilities who can successfully fill real-life jobs and work as part of a team. All they need is an empathetic employer and a careful job match. If you are interested in discussing whether and how this might work for your organization, feel free to send me a private message or an email to jamarkson@cannaesolution.com. Special Thanks to Toni Thomas and Amanda Platner of Emory and Curtis Condon and Ryan Whittington of Sturgeon Technology for their support of this important program.

Cannae HR Solutions - Human Resource Shared Services/Outsourcing and Related Project-Based Consulting

On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month, ww1 ended. The day that is now commemorated as Veteran's Day was originally called Armistice Day. A not-so-fun-fact about the last day of WW1 is that Americans suffered about 3,500 casualties as they were ordered, for political reasons, to continue their advance notwithstanding commanders knew that peace would come at 11:00am. 3,500 casualties would be a very bad day in WW2 and unheard of in Vietnam. To all who are serving , or have served: Thank You. Your work, among other more-idealistic benefits, has allowed me to go about my daily business of business.
