Possibly the largest single insured loss event in the history of the affirmative cyber insurance industry over the past 20 years. But at 3-10% loss ratio impact, #CrowdOut it is still just a minnow... CyberCube's loss curves put events in the tail at more than 200% loss ratio impacts. Again, this event will be an interesting counterfactual exercise to run when the dust has settled.. if some details of the event had played out differently, what might have happened? #CrowdOut #CyberInsurance #CyberReinsurance #SPoF #CAERS

Primary companies affected by the "CrowdOut" event are those using CrowdStrike’s Falcon software on machines running Windows OS, both desktop (including Windows 10 and 11) and Windows Server. CrowdStrike’s customer base includes many other organizations that CyberCube identifies as Single Points of Failure (SPoFs). Companies relying on one of these SPoFs may be secondary victims of the event, even if they do not use CrowdStrike and Windows directly. Additionally, CrowdStrike Falcon is deployed by managed security service providers (MSSPs) on the networks of other – typically smaller – organizations they oversee. These organizations using such MSSPs are also secondary victims of the event. Read CyberCube's analysis here: https://hubs.ly/Q02HG8pd0 #SPoF #CrowdStrike #CrowdOut
