📸 Live from the 4th International Workshop on Data Analytics in the Energy Sector at the #IISA2024 Conference, in Chania, Crete! This morning researcher José L. H. from CARTIF gave a presentation focusing on the pathways capable of enabling interoperability and #datasharing in #demandresponse services, bringing forward #DEDALUS_EU as an example.
About us
#DEDALUS_EU is an EU-funded project which aims at designing, developing, and demonstrating multi-carrier and carrier-agnostic Demand Response energy ecosystems. By working simultaneously on different social, technical and business layers, the project goal is to drive Demand Response in residential buildings. Funded by the European Union. Views and opinions expressed are solely those of the author(s) only and do not necessarily reflect those of the European Union or the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA). Neither the European Union nor the granting authority can be held responsible for them.

Have a look at this co-creation workshop conducted by #DEDALUS_EU partner domx: the aim was to gather essential knowledge to make more informed decisions in the electricity and gas sectors. Learn more below! ⤵
🌟 Exciting Workshop at DOMX! 🌟 We are pleased to share that we just hosted a successful co-creation workshop at domx with our end-users as part of the European Research project DEDALUS EU, focused on promoting energy-aware living!⚡️🔥 ️ During the event, we explored key strategies for optimizing energy usage in both electricity and gas sectors. Our goal was to empower our users with practical knowledge and tools to make more informed decisions, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and cost-effective energy future. Here are some highlights from the workshop: -Understanding Nudging: We discussed how subtle interventions in mobile applications can guide users towards energy-efficient behaviors. -Demand Response: Participants learned about the importance of demand response in electricity, how it works, and the benefits it brings to both consumers and the grid. -Interactive Activities: We engaged attendees with specific activities designed to gather valuable feedback for improving the design of our mobile application and refining our energy strategies. The engagement and enthusiasm from our participants were truly inspiring. The feedback we collected will be instrumental in shaping our future initiatives and ensuring our solutions are user-centric and effective. A big thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event! Additionally, we extend our gratitude to our partners at SIN Smart Innovation Norway for providing us with invaluable guidelines and materials. Big thank you as well to the recently completed #NUDGEH2020 project colleagues and especially to Peter Conradie for the legacy and outputs that still support our efforts in co-creation with end users for effective nudging.
