New Scam Alert. Protect Yourself. Reports are out of a new smishing scam targeting Apple users. Apple users have reported receiving text notifications appearing to come from Apple that instruct them to login to their iCloud account. The link within the message directs them to a fake iCloud login where account credentials are captured and stolen. Protect yourself by being vigilant to any text, call, or email instructing you to login to an account that you did not initiate. It is also recommended that you turn on multi-factor authentication. This way, should you mistakenly provide your login credentials through such a fraud scheme, you will be alerted to any attempts to access your account that you did not initiate. While this particular scam targets Apple users, the same vigilance and reminders apply to everyone. - Member FDIC, Equal Housing Lender

Too frequently our loan officers receive financing inquiries from real estate borrowers who are not giving themselves enough time ahead of the date of their maturing loan. Adequate time is vital in the lending process for both the borrower and lender, between the time it takes to research the best financing options and lenders, complete the underwriting review, execute the loan, and allow wiggle room for any hiccups that may occur.
