After a six-month predevelopment period, the Garden Grove Civic Center Revitalization Project reached financial close last Thursday, paving the way for construction to begin this month. The entire team is so excited to reach this milestone and continue its strong partnership with the City of Garden Grove!

Last week, the Edgemoor team gathered in Arlington, Virginia for our off-site meeting, which focused on lessons learned from recent innovation developments. Our team learned about the unique challenges and opportunities presented by Fuse at Mason Square through discussions with our client and partners and tours of the facility, which opens this fall. Edgemoor is proud to have partnered with the Kansas City Aviation Department on the New Terminal project! Thank you to Clark Construction Group for creating this incredible video that encapsulates the hard work and dedication that went into delivering this transformative project for the Kansas City community. ✈️

On Tuesday, May 14th, Edgemoor joined the City of Garden Grove alongside design-builder Clark Construction Group, project architect AC Martin, and other members of the project team to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Garden Grove Civic Center Revitalization project. The new 103,000-square-foot public safety facility for the Grove Police Department will replace the current building, consolidating staff to better serve the community's public safety needs. The project will also include a four-story parking garage and a redesigned 2.7-acre Civic Center Park for community members to enjoy. At the groundbreaking, Edgemoor’s Managing Director Brian Dugan said, “I’m excited for the strong chemistry between our teams to continue for the next several years as we deliver a much-needed new public safety facility, parking garage, and park for the community.” The entire Edgemoor team is proud to be part of this partnership! Last week, the Kansas City International Airport New Terminal project was honored at the 2024 Kansas City Business Journal Capstone Awards! The New Terminal received the Judges' Special Recognition Award for its significant impact on the region. Along with being the largest single infrastructure project in Kansas City's history, the New Terminal is an impressive front door to the region, providing a traveler-friendly experience while showcasing all of the great things Kansas City has to offer. This recognition is a testament to the incredible local involvement, dedication, and vision that went into bringing this state-of-the-art New Terminal to life. We are so proud to be a part of the Kansas City community!

Exciting news! On Wednesday, April 24, representatives from University of Nevada, Reno, Edgemoor, design-builder Clark Construction Group, and designer LMN Architects celebrated the new College of Business building’s structural topping out. This major milestone commemorates over 40,000 work hours that took place to date over the course of the project.   As part of the Mathewson Gateway District, the 128,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility for the College of Business will create a physical link between the University and downtown Reno and catalyze growth for the region.   The new College of Business building officially broke ground in October 2023 and is scheduled to open in July 2025. This Earth Day, we're proud to share some of our recent project sustainability highlights: ✈ KCI New Terminal: Completed in February 2023, this 1.1 billion square foot facility is the first LEED v4 Gold BD+C: NC terminal/concourse project in the Midwest, and the second in the United States. 🏛 Howard County Circuit Courthouse: The modern new courthouse includes several sustainable features, such as solar panels to offset energy consumption. The courthouse exceeded its original goal of LEED Silver, achieving LEED Gold certification. 💡 Fuse at Mason Square: This new hub for digital innovation, scheduled for completion in Summer 2024, has been designed and constructed to achieve LEED Platinum and will be net-zero ready.
