The annual 4-week Senior Series, taught by Evergreen since 2018, covers a range of financial wellness topics crucial for seniors, such as exploitation, scams, inflation, and preparing important documents. 🤝 Participants receive tools to help them with the weekly topics, enjoy snacks, and have fun with money games that offer prizes. (Like Evergreen sunglasses, pictured below!) 😎 Thanks to our Community Engagement team for spreading awareness on healthy financial habits, and attendees at the South Portland Community Center for making money management fun! 🌲

Team Evergreen played well at the Sebago Lake Region Chamber of Commerce Golf Open in Gray last week. It was a beautiful day to play and raise money for the Chamber's efforts. Our four-person team connected with other organizations in the area all working to raise money for scholarships, programming, and more. Thanks to Evergreen staff members Zach and Cam and Scott and Rick from our Board of Directors for getting out there! ⛳

Congratulations to Maine Mayhem Women's Football and Maine Footy // FEAT Network for their wins on Saturday! 🔥 Their teams, which are both proud Community Partners with Evergreen, granted our marketing team field access so we could document all the action. Afterwards, we were able to share these photos and more with the soccer and football teams to use for free on their own channels. Evergreen CU was represented at the Travis Mills Foundation Miles For Mills 5k and 10k on Memorial Day Weekend! 🏃 We were happy to see that SR1 Companies (formerly Scott’s Recreation) was supporting the event! SR1 has consistently been one of Evergreen's Top 5 Local Lending Partners since the inception of our dealer program. Their logo stood proud on the stage as Travis Mills spoke to the participants. 👏 Congratulations to all runners, supporters, and the TMF team on a successful event! We're excited to share photos from the recently completed Evergreen Credit Union branch in Scarborough on Route One! Pictured here is our work on the exterior, lobby, conference room, offices, teller station, and more. Make sure to keep an eye out for the building at night- the lights turn to 'Evergreen green' against the marsh reeds design on the office windows! Gawron Turgeon Dillon Architects, P.C. was brought on to the project by Evergreen Credit Union during pre-design and provided services from the schematic design to construction administration & furniture selection. We enjoy seeing Scarborough evolve around us, and we love being a part of those changes!
