Data is crucial for automation. 📊 The video below shows how we acquired data at our pilot partner's site to feed into our AI platform and automate HVAC controls, achieving 65% energy savings with simple sensors. 💡 Although we demonstrated the energy-saving potential of the FLUIX AI Autopilot system in this test environment, we do not install sensors in our clients' facilities. 🏭 Typically, critical infrastructures such as data centers and manufacturing facilities already have the necessary energy and temperature sensors. However, these sensors are often disparate and isolated. 🔌❄️ If sensors are missing, we collaborate with sensor partners to implement data capture. Data Centers are complex environments. Colocation data centers are even more complex because multiple tenants are renting our equipment, space, and bandwidth. 📡🏢 In a colocation data center, you might have: A large government customer taking 40% of the raised floor space with 1000-watt servers 🏛️ An HPC (High-Performance Computing) customer taking 10% of the space with 4000-watt servers filled with GPUs 🖥️💡 Mixed-use tenants occupying the rest of the space with varying heat loads 🌡️ The image below from Vertiv highlights the different equipment and facilities systems used in these environments. The issue? In most real environments we visit and see, these colos often have fragmented facility systems, including different CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) and CRAH (Computer Room Air Handler) units. Not to mention the water, UPS, various monitoring/controls software. This fragmentation arises from several factors: 1. Client Requirements: Different clients have unique cooling needs, leading to a mix of CRAC and CRAH units within the same facility. 2. Legacy and Modern Systems: As data centers evolve, they often incorporate both old and new cooling technologies to meet expanding demands. 3. Vendor Diversity: Clients may prefer or require specific vendors, resulting in varied equipment across the facility. 4. Scalability: Modular designs in colocation centers allow for flexible and scalable solutions, which can lead to a mix of different systems. This diversity can make managing and optimizing the facility's overall efficiency more challenging. Integrated facility management solutions can help harmonize these systems to improve energy efficiency and performance. AIMI (AI Managed Infrastructure) by FLUIX AI addresses the fragmentation problem in colocation data centers by leveraging advanced AI to seamlessly integrate and manage diverse facility systems. 1.
