GeoLogic, LLC, is a full-service geological engineering firm that uses scientific investigation and engineering design to provide innovative solutions to our clients’ most challenging mining, construction, and development problems in a safe, effective and cost-efficient manner. GeoLogic provides mining, quarrying, hydrogeological, and engineering geology services. This includes geological exploration for rock quarries, geological mapping, aggregate and dimension stone quarry evaluations, resource and reserve estimates for dimension stone and aggregate rock quarries, aquifer testing (slug tests, pump tests, etc.), slope stability analysis, design, and remediation. Mine planning and design. Surface mine permitting applications. Subsurface geological evaluations for transportation infrastructure (roadways and bridges) and dams.

We are thrilled to welcome our new Senior Engineer, Kori Darby, PE, to the GeoLogic team! With 11 years of engineering experience and a diverse background in the mining industry, she’s the perfect fit! Kori earned her B.S. in Mining Engineering and Management from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, followed by a Master’s in Civil Engineering, and more than a decade working with coal, aggregates, and metals, mentoring other engineers, permitting mining projects, and performing SK-1300 evaluations. She is a Professional Engineer, currently licensed in Texas and Mississippi, with plans to become licensed in Alabama and Tennessee.
