👋👋👋 Meet your new best friend! GORGIE, an energy drink with benefits from a brand with benefits. ✨✨✨ A Community, a brand, a platform on a mission to make wellness fun! We believe that wellness, energy, supplements and good for you products should no longer be a sacrifice in taste, vibe or aesthetic. We are a brand with benefits creating beverages with benefits, and we are starting with ENERGY. What started out as a product for intense fitness performance is now evolving to become a go-to want and need for all day, everyday life - growing into a $40B industry. Energy drinks are now for Monday morning motivation, pre workout boosts, 3pm pick me ups, and Saturday night dance parties. 💃💃💃 It has women's wants and needs written all over it, yet there is not a single brand focused on building with a truly women-first lens. We want products that give us energy, yes, but with added benefits we love for health, wellness and mindfulness. We want products that are good for you and look good with you! We want communities and brands that speak to us visually and show up reliably, with digital moments and IRL experiences we care about. And we want a brand that is built by women for women, yet inclusive for the whole household! 👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️ GORGIE started community first. We crowdsourced every moment of this journey thus far, and we plan to do so every step of the way. We’re a brand built by followers and friends, driven by community. We're talking IG surveys, Tiktok competitions, and Geneva conversations for input on products, flavors, visuals, compelling names! Our community has chosen it all, and we’re just getting started… GORGIE is launching January of 2023 and already the community is building and bursting.     Team GORGIE is blown away by the incredible response from our community on Prime Day! 💸 Prime Day is one of the biggest days of the year for CPG companies - Fun fact: yesterday Amazon saw $7.2B (with a B) in consumer spending! 🎁 AND it’s a great opportunity to give our community some perks on their fave energy drink! 🙋♀️ AND it’s a perfect day to win over some new customers! On top of the “standard” prime day marketing, we also kicked off some community-led campaigns centered around our favorite humans and crowd-favorite tote. Our team was overwhelmed all day responding to DMs, tags, and comments from our community members! Yet again! We just found out that GORGIE is the #1 fastest growing energy drink at Whole Foods - even though we’re only in stores across the north east?!?! 🙊 Since our launch in Whole Foods in January 2023, G has resonated with health-conscious consumers looking for a natural energy boost without compromising on taste or quality! Our commitment to using natural ingredients without any of the nasty sweeteners has clearly struck a chord with shoppers at Whole Foods! This milestone wouldn't be possible without the incredible dedication of our team!!     My GORGIE Internship has been nothing short of a dream opportunity 🎉 During my freshman year of college I was already intimidated by the internship and post-grad job market. Who wouldn’t be? You have four years to prepare yourself for your professional career and the amount of information you need to consume is daunting. When I was given the opportunity to work at GORGIE in February of 2023 it felt as if I was getting my first real shot. Looking back today, I know it has been so much more than that! Over the past year I have had the privilege of working for one of the fastest growing natural energy companies of 2024! There are 3 words that come to mind when I reflect on this experience: 🍉 Awe-Inspiring 🍑 Enlightening 🍋 Encouraging I have been able to participate in: - Media planning for retailer launches like The Fresh Market and Costco Wholesale - Executing our GORGIE booth at the Expo West 2024 Exhibition - Growing relationships with creators from gifting to events to paid partnerships - Community planning and building for our thousands of followers and friends in every state across the country! - Managing inbound communications across platforms, channels, and stakeholders - Marketing planning meetings and brainstorming sessions for milestone campaigns and ongoing social presence - Growing a brand to 34k+ on socials! And we are just getting started! My experience at GORGIE has given me the confidence to handle any project thrown my way, and this wouldn’t be possible without the incredible team who not only took a chance on a college freshman but who have poured countless hours into my mentorship and betterment. At first glance, transitioning from a structured world of engineering to the dynamic, fluid arena of the beverage industry might seem like a leap. Yet, it felt like a natural evolution of my career, blending my technical skills with my creative aspirations. At GORGIE, I've been able to harness my analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to innovate and drive marketing strategies that resonate with today's consumers. This role has allowed me to impact brand presence and consumer engagement directly while staying on top of the latest industry trends.
