We appreciated the opportunity to work with Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) and our trade partners to complete new upgrades to the Georges Creek WRRF. Our team successfully removed old equipment and installed new peristaltic metering pumps and large FRP tanks. Our project team also upgraded the biosolids building with a new centrifuge and polymer feed system, increasing the plant's production capacity. Proud to collaborate with these incredible partners to help maintain clean water for our community! Black & Veatch Photo Credit: Kerri Natasha Photography #construction #watertreatment #greenvillesc

Located in the heart of downtown Greenville, the new United Community Bank Headquarters is a testament to the city’s growing economy and thriving community. The building is a 200,000 SF facility, with three levels of parking and 117,000 SF of Class A office space. It also includes 4th and 7th-floor roof terraces with seating, fire pits, and stunning views of the downtown Greenville skyline and Falls Park. The building was designed with high-end features and materials sourced from around the world. The floor tile came from Italy, the terracotta from Portugal and Germany, and the wall coverings were selected from Holland. Local artists contributed blown glass teardrops for the ceiling accents, and the stair treads were made from mahogany wood. The building is designed to meet WELL Building Standard ™, one of the first buildings of its kind in the state to hold this designation. Harper would like to express our gratitude to our amazing client, trade partners, project team, and community for working with us to bring UCB’s vision to life. The building is a result of the determined efforts, creativity, and successful collaboration of our entire team. We look forward to witnessing the continued success of United Community Bank for years to come. The Furman Co. | Development was the developer. Hootie Solesbee, LEED AP BD+C of Harper General Contractors and Jamie Hodge of Hodge Floors have completed 51 projects together. The first projects they worked on together were CC Woodson Community Center and Spartanburg Day School in 2008. This sparked the beginning of their business relationship, but as they worked together, they realized that this would be a friendship and a business relationship that would stand the test of time.
