#FlashbackFriday to 2018 when our I-CAR Hands-On Welding Demo was located outside in the Garden Patio South of the Las Vegas Convention Center at the SEMA Show! Attendees were eager to try their hand at welding, showcasing their skills and learning new techniques. We're proud to have brought these hands-on demos to the event for years. Now, you can find us inside next to our booth and the Collision Repair & Refinish Stage. We're excited to continue providing valuable demonstrations and will be there again this year. See you at SEMA! 🛠️ #HandsOn #ICARatSEMA #CollisionRepair #WeldingDemos #SEMA2024

Over the past year, I-CAR has been using the Meta Quest 3 to develop innovative Virtual Reality (VR) prototypes that accurately recreate hands-on vehicle learning processes. Our prototypes include VR tutorials, a gamified van door removal process, and a high-voltage disconnect simulation using a virtual I-CAR EV Cart, mirroring our 5-day EV course. We recently conducted functionality testing with students from the College of Lake County's Automotive Collision Repair Class. Our goal was to ensure ease of interaction, high realism, and curriculum relevance. The overwhelmingly positive feedback affirmed our objectives, demonstrating that these VR prototypes can be used to revolutionize collision repair training. This innovation highlights our commitment to advancing educational methods and staying at the forefront of the industry. 🎮🔧 #Innovation #CollisionRepair #VRTraining
