These individuals were recognized for their outstanding service and dedication to the association, their community, and the independent insurance industry! Will Wilson of Oakbridge Insurance received the Past President's Award. He was recognized for his unrelenting service to the association. Mike Kaplan of Sanford Insurance received the Edgar Dunlap Award. He was recognized for his outstanding contributions within his community. Jerome Guiney of Hanover Insurance received the Ted Carleton Award. He was recognized for displaying the highest attributes necessary in the vital partnership between agents and companies. Majority Leader of the Georgia Senate Steve Gooch received the Hagler-Haas Award. He was recognized for the proactive role he has played in improving the industry for all. Ragan Blankenship of Ragan Insurance received the honor of Young Agent of The Year. He was recognized for his outstanding service to the Young Agent Committee and his involvement in the community. Bret Urban with The Insurance Gurus received the honor of Agency Staff Person of The Year. He was recognized for his significant positive impact and leadership within his agency. Additionally, Presidential Commendations were given to those who have made a significant impact on the association by serving the association above and beyond their position. Ashley Ellis of BBWH Insurors received the honor of Presidential Commendation for her long standing dedication to the association and willingness to serve. Kayla Marie Jones of Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia received the honor of Presidential Commendation for her hard work and dedication to strengthening the association's member events and Young Agents Committee. Steven Hall of Blanton and Griffin received the honor of Presidential Commendation for his outstanding dedication to the Young Agents Committee and relentless advocacy for the independent insurance industry.
