New office, new beginnings, same neon flame 🔥 We’re excited to share that earlier this week we bid farewell to our prior London HQ at 145 City Road, and relocated to a new space just south of Old Street Roundabout! Our amazing team worked tirelessly to prep the space for its grand opening, and we couldn’t be more thankful for their hard work. ❤️🔥 Get ready for lots of great things to come!

We’re back with another Behind the Flame 🔥 this time with Product Engineer Rory Bain. After joining 2 years ago, Rory not only helped launch On-call - he also kept the London office well-fed with homemade bread 🍞 One of the first to “rise” to a challenge, Rory embodies our value of “Find a way” every day. Clearly, we knead him around here! (Wink, wink) Head over to the comments to read Rory’s full interview ⬇️ #behindtheflame #lifeatincident #incidentios

On paper, AI is your “perfect” employee: a fast worker, always on time, and no lunch breaks needed. 💪 But as AI becomes more common in incident management, we’re seeing new risks involving over-automation that replaces human actions. We’ll explore these themes in the final virtual event of our three-part Redefining incident management series: The power and pitfalls of AI. Join us as we hear from speakers like VP of Engineering Norberto Lopes and Product Engineers Milly Leadley and Rob Liddle on how too much control can make AI more harmful than helpful. 🤖 Like it or not, we can all agree: it’s the one team member we might need a deeper background check on. Today was a tough day in the cyber world, and a tough day for people around the world. With people stuck in queues waiting for flights, unable to pay for groceries, and facing cancelled medical appointment, it’s been eye-opening just how impactful incidents can be on our everyday lives. But today also reminds us how crucial it is to be prepared for these incidents. More incidents like this are all but certain—it’s a ‘when’, not an ‘if’. To the incident responders working tirelessly to resolve this chaos: we’ve been in your shoes. We’re sending virtual HugOps and good luck. 💙 If you’re curious to hear our take in more depth, our CEO, Stephen Whitworth, shared his thoughts on the situation. See comments for the link.
