The series highlights the ever-changing political landscape leading up to the current 2024 presidential election season, race relations and the Supreme Court, among other critical topics. 'The Black Ballot' will feature insightful commentary from high-profile journalists, civil rights leaders, historians and activists including host of The Don Lemon Show, Don Lemon, activist and founder of the #MeToo movement Tarana Burke, political activist Dr. Cornel West, and many more. 3x GRAMMY-winning global superstar Ludacris joined Urban One for a full “Luda Day” at Cannes on Influential Beach to celebrate the impact of Black culture on Juneteenth! Urban One’s CEO Alfred Liggins sat down with Ludacris for a special ONE-on-ONE conversation to discuss representation, Black excellence and history. Ludacris’ day with Urban One was also a “full circle" one. He shared how he started his career as a DJ on Urban One-owned station 97.5 FM, now 107.9 FM.
