We're proud to announce Jimbo's NEWEST location is NOW OPEN! Bring the kids to the San Diego Children's Discovery Museum to their new exhibit - CurioCity, where they can pretend to shop/ work at Jimbo's!
Step into our imaginative city, Curiocity! Our refreshed exhibit space allows creativity and fun to come alive! Children can grocery shop at Jimbo’s, wash clothes at Grande Laundry Place, test their skills at the Applied Energy Services (AES) light board, enjoy a meal at Bite Size Bistro, and cook and clean their home. This exhibit is generously supported by Jimbo's, Grande Laundry Place, and The AES Corporation.

Jimbo announced the location of a new Jimbo's LIVE on FOX 5 San Diego (KSWB-TV)! Here's a note from Jimbo in case you missed it: "To the entire Jimbo’s family It is with great excitement that I announce the signing of our latest lease in the Scripps-Poway area of San Diego! This new 25,000 square foot store will be a great addition to our current four stores. This store will be part of the Watermark project and is slated to open at the end of 2026. Along with the new Mission Valley store in Civita that is now scheduled to open a year after Watermark opens, Jimbo’s will have six locations to server the greater San Diego community. To the Jimbo’s staff I want to say thank you all for your dedication and loyalty. It is without a doubt a credit to all your hard work that we have seen so much success and that we have been able to grow the company. I hope you take pride in what all of you have accomplished and hope that these two new stores will provide you opportunities to take on new challenges and responsibilities. You are the foundation of the company! To the Jimbo’s customers I cannot thank you enough for all the support you have shown us over the years. Your continued belief in what we do has been inspirational in allowing Jimbo’s to succeed and for us to grow. It has been our pleasure to serve you! To the communities of Scripps-Poway and Mission Valley We cannot wait to be part of the very fabric of your everyday life. And we cannot wait to serve you with the highest quality organic and natural foods. We so much look forward to it! To all Thank you for having been a part of the Jimbo’s journey. It has been an incredible ride and made so much more bountiful by you all being a part of it! With much gratitude, Jimbo"

Established on this day in 1984, Jimbos officially celebrates 40 years of serving San Diego and being a leader in the Natural Foods industry! Jimbo opened his original location at 3918 30th Street in North Park (which was most recently the location of Sipz Café). Since outgrowing the original location, Jimbos has grown to four locations in San Diego - soon to be more! This wouldn’t be possible without the amazing community we have surrounding us - too many to list here, but know that each of you hold a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to serving you and looking out for your best interest for many more more years to come! Cheers to 40 years!

Jimbo's reposted this
Though he’s been immersed in the natural products world for a half-century, “I don’t feel that old,” laughs Jimbo Someck, the charismatic owner of Jimbo's Naturally. Since opening his first store in 1984, he has grown the company to four bustling locations across San Diego County, with a fifth opening planned for 2026. Someck has certainly seen the industry change over the years, but his values haven’t budged. An early and staunch supporter of organic, non-GMO and regenerative agriculture, he has inspired many other independents to stick to their principles, even when it’s tough. Someck has also encouraged them to join forces, co-founding the INFRA in 2004. Here, Someck reflects on the industry’s most significant changes over the years and why he remains as dedicated as ever: https://utm.io/ug5Fg #retailers #naturalproducts #organic #cpg #retail

Support the Regenerative Organic Agriculture movement easily by shopping for products with these shelf tags at Jimbo's!
After visiting close friends in Tijuana, I had the pleasure of stopping by Jimbo's in San Diego and came across some fascinating tags under our teas promoting soil health and regenerative organic practices. These tags really caught my attention, and I hope that many people will notice. Although I couldn't explore the entire store, I managed to snap a few pictures of the brands we are friends with. A big thank you to Jimbo's for consistently leading the way in offering healthy food and beverages, and for your unwavering support for regenerative.
