  • Las Fuentes Resort Village, a senior living community caring for 280 Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Care residents on 16 acres recently celebrated receiving the Pennant Group Flag for exceptional performance. Las Fuentes was only one of two communities out of 53 in the senior living company portfolio to receive the award. Additionally, this was the second year in a row to receive the distinction which has only been achieved 4 times back-to-back in the companies’ history. The Pennant Flag is achieved by meeting 20 criteria from resident and employee satisfaction to financial performance. “This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication and teamwork of our 88 amazing team members from the Prescott area, and of course our supportive residents. Achieving the Flag is the pinnacle of performance in our company. It lets everyone know that we are the best of the best”, said Doug Libby, Executive Director and CEO at Las Fuentes. The theme of the celebration was “Through the Ages” with many guests dressed in costume for the favorite decade of their choice. Over 100 guests and employees attended the Flag celebration including Andy Rider, President, and Pennant Service Center support staff from Utah, Idaho, and Arizona. The event featured a Pennant flag-raising ceremony, with the Flag being escorted to a location in front of the building by the Methodist Cruisers with Doug Libby, Executive Director who rode in one of the 6 classic cars. Food was catered by Kelley’s Kitchen food truck and Jersey Girl’s Cheesecakes.

  • My dad has been a private pilot since I was a kid. Learning on a tail dragging Champion on a grass landing strip in the 1960’s to a Comanche 285 in the 1990’s he’s flown all kinds of planes and perfected his skills. In 1992 he sold his plane and moved to Mexico with my Mom. Tuesday we flew again!

Yesterday my Dad, Mom and I flew in a Piper Cherokee 180 with my dad at the controls for the first time since 1992 when he last flew as a private pilot. With the aid of our instructor Xavier, Dad was able to fulfill his dream of once again getting in the cockpit and logging 1 hour of flying in his flight log. At 86 years old, he’s an inspiration to me that you’re never to old to reignite your passions! #passion #loveofflying

Last night at the closing of our annual Pennant Group Conference “Roaring Twenties” Awards Gala in Las Vegas, we were formally recognized with the distinction of winning the Pennant Flag for the 2nd year in a row for Las Fuentas Resort Village. This back-to-back accomplishment has only been done 4 times in the history of our company. It was the culmination of the great commitment, trust, and teamwork of our 88 awesome team members at Las Fuentes Resort Village, and the support of our Summit Living partners and Pennant resources. The Flag has ten criteria that must be achieved throughout the year, ranging from resident and employee satisfaction, to clinical compliance and financial performance. Last week we announced the news to our hardworking staff in Prescott. I’m so proud of them all! #Pennant #annualmeeting2024 #pinnacleseniorliving
