Lime Connect is rebranding disability through achievement; leading the way as the premier resource for top talent by attracting, preparing, & connecting high potential university students and professionals - including veterans - who have all types of disabilities for scholarships, leadership programs, internships and full time careers with our corporate partners - the world's leading corporations. Through our work, we are breaking stereotypes & leading all companies to realize the importance, & value, of employing people with disabilities at every level of education, talent and ability.     Calling all University staff: Join us next Wednesday, July 31st (Canada-based) or Thursday, August 1st (US-based) at 1pm ET for our Supporting Students with Disabilities Session! This session is designed for university professionals and staff, and we will discuss disclosure and best practices for supporting students with disabilities in their career search. The session will also cover all the Lime Connect programs, resources, scholarships, and career opportunities available to your students and alumni with disabilities via our new community platform.   We also encourage you to join our community as a university partner, if you have not already done so, where you can connect with people from other Lime Connect University Partners across the country. You’ll also find the various resources we have to offer in your University Partner group’s media center, including webinars, articles, and links to online tutorials which will help you refine your approach to accessibility on campus.   See you next week!     Tomorrow's the day! Join Lime Connect and Vanessa Kelly on Tuesday, June 25th at 12 p.m. ET via Zoom for the next installment in our Voices of Lime series. Vanessa, the VP and Senior Counsel of the Global Banking and Markets Group at Goldman Sachs, will lead a discussion with Lime Network members who are successfully living and working with a hearing disability. As someone who is hard of hearing herself, Vanessa is uniquely positioned to address the challenges experienced by our panelists and discuss the strategies and accommodations that have helped them succeed. The panelists joining Vanessa include: Laura Friedman, SVP Strategic Engagement Lead for Services, Markets, Banking and Global Functions Technology at Citi Nancy Goduto, Operations Officer III at TD Bank Financial Group Christopher Caulfield, Product Manager at Microsoft. This session aims to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of hearing disabilities and ways to support individuals on both personal and professional levels.
