Having overstock of a product as a small business owner can really sting financially and emotionally :/ Amidst those feelings, I also feel really grateful when my extra inventory gets a second life! Big thanks to LiquiDonate for connecting businesses of all sizes with schools and non-profits to minimize the amount unused products going into landfills. This is my second year that I've donated excess gingerbread houses to EAH Housing in Richmond, CA. Today, amazing volunteers from all over San Francisco came together to make 60+ meals for those in need. Our volunteer Cormac shared a great saying: “If you eat your food like it’s medicine, you won’t have to eat medicine like it’s your food.” And we agree. We’ve always believed that food is medicine and that everyone deserves the highest quality ingredients. We are so grateful for everyone who helped out and for our donors for making this possible. Thanks to you, we provided healthy, nutritious meals to our neighbors currently experiencing homelessness with kindness and respect. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤️
