🚀 Want the secret to B2B SaaS success? It's All About the Homies..
A buddy of mine, Max Benator from Orca, sent me this today, and it really hit close to home...
It made me realize that here at LyveCom, I’m truly working with the homies (both dudes and dudettes). The beauty is, when you’re getting punched in the mouth hourly running a startup, it’s way more fun when homies are around because you can at least laugh it up and then curl up and cry later.
I always say, "Even if it fails, it's about the friends you met along the way."
Don’t think I’ve ever shared how LyveCom really came to be and what our all-star team looks like, so here it goes.
👨💻 Roman Beleavschii, our Founding Front-End Lead, has been my friend since I was 5 years old. Growing up on the same block in the poorest country in Eastern EU with a GDP of $12B, he was my Internet Operator. If you remember Internet Cafes back in the day, he’d hook me up with extra hours for an overnight deal, and I'd sit in for 12-14 hours playing C.S. 1.6 and BF2. We’ve been working together ever since, from Covet Shipping (Acquired by AxleHire) to leading at LyveCom. It’s a blessing and rare to work with a best friend while focusing on our mission.
🛠️ Serhii Levyk, our Founding BE Infra Engineer, has been a part of my life for almost 8 years. I first hired him at Aurate New York, and we instantly clicked. We’ve spoken nearly every day since – that’s 2,922 days straight! (more than my now ex-gf) Talk about a Snap Inc. streak smh...
👨🎓 Vlas Smoleac, my younger brother, is an absolute killer in sales automation at just 20 years old. His first (and hopefully only) job is at LyveCom. He’s getting an MBA in real life, all while learning how to get punched in the teeth and smile. 😊
🦸♀️ Krista Leach, our absolute wonder woman. She was a Lyve user who loved the product so much she decided to become our first CSM.. A few days ago, she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, and hours later, she was Slacking me stuff 🤯🤯. That is definitely someone you want on the front lines with you!
🐐 Kevin Gould, my Co-Founder, is a name you’d know unless you live under a rock.. None of this would’ve been possible without him, and I can truly call him the GOAT homie.
So yes, building B2B SaaS with homies doesn’t just cure loneliness; you get a tribe – a tribe of strength, resilience, the ups, the downs, and most importantly, homies for life.
