A water fight, scavenger hunt and epic dance party – that’s how 3-year-old Jace celebrated his wish coming true! 💦😎🪩 This cancer fighter is ready to escape the weight of his diagnosis and explore the outdoors in Sunriver. 🌲 His wish, and this big celebration, are possible thanks to the team at Genentech. 💙 Genentech is not only helping grant Jace’s wish, but also played a crucial role in saving his life. “It was an extra special surprise to have Genentech help grant Jace’s wish, as I am a Genentech employee,” said mom, Lisa. “Jace used a Genentech drug during the course of his treatment and we’re so grateful. He has been isolated, and in and out of the hospital for the last year and a half. Now that he completed treatment, we are so excited for him to experience a big adventure, and to do all the things he has been wanting to do for so long - especially swimming!” “Being involved in Jace’s wish was inspiring,” said Jenn Klotz, Genentech Community Relations Lead in Oregon. “It means becoming part of a child’s journey through one of the most challenging times in their life. It’s about creating a moment of pure joy and hope, giving them and their families memories that transcend the illness. Wish Kid Ollie couldn’t hide his excitement for his cruise ship wish – and love of confetti! 🎉🥳 The 11-year-old from Hillsboro just celebrated his wish coming true with this special party at Royal Moore Subaru. He’s about to set sail on an Alaskan cruise with his family. 🛳️⚓️ He can’t wait to be on the water and play in the pool on the ship. During the past year, Ollie has been in and out of the hospital and this will be their first real vacation together in a long time. 💙 We’re wishing you all the best quality time together! Wish Kid Marley is headed to Hawaii with a little extra sparkle! ✨ It’s all thanks to Jewelers For Children and Skeie's Jewelers in Eugene. For 25 years, Jewelers for Children has been supporting wish kids across the country and donated more than $14 million to make wishes come true. 🙌 Thank you for supporting Marley’s wish and creating such a special send-off experience. Marley celebrated her wish coming true with a dinner party at Skeies Jewelers that featured Hawaiian dancers, local musicians performing songs from her favorite artist and a personalized shopping experience. 🎉WISH GRANTED!🎉 Jarron’s wish is going to give him the freedom to once again enjoy his favorite things. 🌲🎣 The 6-year-old loves to be outside and fish. His family used to camp, but it became very difficult with Jarron’s respiratory disorder. New custom mountain bike🚲 + your fav Freeride Pro⭐️ + HUGE surprise party🎉 = WISH GRANTED! Brayden just had his wish granted in a big way! The 17-year-old fighter from Bend wished for a custom mountain bike and walked through a cloud of confetti at subaru of bend to find out his wish was coming true. 😎 His specialty bike, created by Project Bike, was waiting along with a pile of presents. Then, came a surprise appearance arranged by our friends at Mt. Bachelor! Brayden’s favorite local pro, Carson Storch, showed up to the party to cheer Brayden on. It’s so special to watch a caring community come together to make local dreams possible! ✨WISH GRANTED!✨ That sparkle in her eye is something Wish Kid Freya’s mom said she’ll never forget. 🤩 3-year-old Freya traveled from Astoria to the Happiest Place on Earth to have her wish come true! She explored Disneyland Resort, dined with characters and had a special makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. 👸 Her favorite part was meeting Elsa & Anna! Freya's mom, Jillian, said Freya was full of excitement each time she walked into the park and woke up each morning with a light in her eye, full of life! “I'm so thankful that after everything Freya went through, we all got to experience this together.” 💙 Thank you to everyone who makes wishes like Freya’s come true.
