It's time to take a swing at our annual Pickleball for Wishes Tournament presented by CAIN Group on Saturday, August 3rd at the nationally recognized Tennis and Pickleball Club at Newport Beach! Gather your friends or colleagues to enjoy the sport of pickleball and help raise funds to help grant wishes for local children with critical illnesses. Pickleball is known as one of the easiest sports to pick up and the event offers a free clinic to help participants learn some techniques and rules of the game if they’ve never played it before. Tournaments for advanced, intermediate, and beginners will be held after our beginner's clinic, so all experience levels are welcome! After the tournament final, players and spectators will gather for the Celebration of Wishes Reception which will include a warm meal, opportunity drawing, award ceremony, inspiring wish speakers, music and more! This year, we are introducing NEW sponsor, participant, and spectator opportunities based on your feedback. Your involvement helps us bring hope, strength, and joy to children in our local community. Happy Independence Day! This July 4th, we're celebrating all the heroes in our lives, like 10-year-old Sebastian, who shows incredible courage and inspires us daily. Sebastian, who’s bravely battled a brain tumor, flew across the country from Wildomar to Washington, D.C. Inspired by his passion for presidential history, he was thrilled to explore the heart of our nation and learn more about its history. A highlight of his trip was visiting the Lincoln Memorial, where he got an even closer look into the life of his favorite president, Abraham Lincoln. Here's to celebrating wishes coming true! Meet Alonzo, a brave 3-year-old battling a respiratory disorder whose wish to meet the Los Angeles Dodgers play came true! Alonzo’s eyes lit up as he stepped onto the grounds of the Dodgers Stadium and toured everything behind the scenes! Alonzo’s love for the Dodgers started from the moment he held a bat at his home in Tustin. Alonzo’s baseball dreams came true witnessing his favorite team in action in his custom Los Angeles Dodgers jersey. Meet Tristan, an 8-year-old cancer warrior who LOVES to draw sharks! Inspired by his drawings, he wished to swim with these amazing creatures. His adventurous spirit followed him on his exciting journey from Newport Beach, CA to The Florida Keys, where his wish finally came to life!  His bright smile said it all as he swam and snorkeled with the fascinating nurse sharks at Theater of the Sea Inc. He also explored The Turtle Hospital and embarked on a glass-bottom boat cruise around the Keys, captivated by panoramic offshore views of the beautiful Atlantic!
