#2023MB100 winner, Andrea Sullivan, has over 20 years of experience in Environment, Social Governance (ESG) and Corporate Responsibility, and specialises in building ESG functions from the ground up for multinational companies. As the International Executive for the Social & Environment Group at Bank of America (BofA), Andrea is responsible for integrating and executing the bank’s positive impact strategy outside the United States. A key part of Andrea and her team’s work is advancing the economic mobility of the next generation, especially those from systemically overlooked communities. Last year alone, BofA provided nearly $290 million in philanthropic investments to drive social and environmental development. #2023MB100 winner, Michelle Hong, is the Co-Founder and COO of Rooftop Republic Urban Farming, a social enterprise that transforms under-utilised areas into vibrant urban farms. United by a love for good food, Michelle and co-founders, Andrew Tsui and Pol Fàbrega Vilella, were inspired by Hong Kong's concrete jungle, seeing an abundance of under-utilised rooftop spaces that could be converted into sources of fresh, organic-grown produce that also connect communities. Since their founding in 2015, the Rooftop Republic team have built more than 80 thriving urban farms in Hong Kong and beyond, in spaces such as decommissioned helipads, shopping mall rooftops, and public terraces.
