Deleanna Allen on Day 3 of WOCCU's 2024 World Credit Union Conference: "Day 3 of the #WCUC24 brought a unique experience. I attended a session on Effective marketing and branding strategies with a huge focus on international marketing. The session, presented by Claudio Halley from Sicoob in Brazil, was conducted in Portuguese, requiring me to utilize an English translator. It was great to see the supplies, resources and support that the conference staff provided to ensure it was an inclusive event, accommodating various languages and perspectives. As always, it was great to learn from Mark Sievewright, who provided insightful information on how the financial industry will evolve over the next decade! Mark your calendars for International Credit Union Day 2024! Off to my final day of the #WCUC24."

Deleanna Allen on Day 2 of WOCCU's 2024 World Credit Union Conference: "The day began with an AMAZING keynote speaker, Shawn Kanungo, who spoke about AI, how to use AI strategically in organizations and the potential cons to be aware of. The biggest takeaway? “The most important skill of the future is to ignore AI.” Next, Jana DeLancey, SVP of Global Insights and Analytics at Mastercard, shared insights on how Gen Z is shaping the future of financial services. One key statistic: “68% of US Gen Z use BNPL solutions because it helps them budget for purchases.” Finally, I had the pleasure of learning from author Tamra Fairbrother Gaines, who offered valuable tips on becoming a confident leader and developing your personal mission. I was also gifted a book for participation! She encouraged us to reflect on this question: Who has been an influence on your personal brand? Looking forward to another exciting day!"
