Join us this week for a complimentary Life-Essentials class and group discussion We all get wrapped up in the complexities of life. Worse still, it can become a habit. Before we know it, stress and worry become our new norms. Know it or not, this is cutting years off our lives. How can we remind ourselves of the “big picture”? How can we stop turning little things into big things? This class will help you zoom out and instantly re-frame what’s going on. Why didn’t they teach us this in school??? https://lnkd.in/gjnGkaDW

"Mindfulness" is a little vague, but words like "balance", "success", "coolness" and "sanity" resonate more. On Wednesday, May 8 at 1pm (PST) I'll be hosting a free class and group discussion. We'll take on meditation, stress reduction and work-life balance...all relevant topics in today's fast-paced world. https://lnkd.in/gfDBCdmu

Mid-Life Course Correction Complimentary Class Please join us Wednesday 4/10/2024 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM PST for our weekly Life-Essentials Class & Group Discussion. https://lnkd.in/g4CfprRk... Many people in their 40’s or 50’s experience a kind of “stall” in their personal and professional lives. During this period (when one life-chapter feels over and there’s no clear vision for the future) life feels boring, unfulfilled, and meaningless. Relationships seem bland and work feels stale. If you’re feeling this way (or know someone who is), welcome to a program on how to reinvent yourself!

Join us this Wednesday at 1:00 PM PST for a complimentary Life-Essentials Class & Group Discussion - "Signs That You Are Burning Out". - Craig Marshall The Monk. As I reflect on 35 years of monastic life, steeped in contemplation and service, I've observed that burnout isn't a phenomenon exclusive to the bustling corporate world. It's a human condition, affecting all who strive, serve, and seek, even in the quiet corridors of a monastery. Burnout whispers softly, revealing itself in subtle signs before it roars. Here are a few markers: emotional numbness, social withdrawal, sleep challenges, growing impatience and irritability. In recognizing these signs, the path to healing begins with acknowledging your human limits. It involves rekindling your connection with yourself, through rest, reflection, and possibly seeking guidance. Remember, it's not the intensity of your practice but the intention and awareness you bring to it that sustains you. Join me in a dialogue on this important topic

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." – Albert Einstein Left to our own devices, most people will do nothing and expect to have a better life. We would love to hear what you’re doing to change the way you think. Craig Marshall, The Monk and Co-Founder of Mindful “U” says: "The manner in which you approach any task reflects your approach to all aspects of life. Mindfulness in each action cultivates a life of intention and purpose. When you attend to even the smallest deed with care and presence, you bring this quality of attention to everything you do. Thus, the way you do anything becomes the way you do everything, shaping a path of harmony and discipline that touches every corner of your existence."
