Nex-Tech has secured grant funding through the fourth round of the Broadband Acceleration Grant (BAG 4.0) program to bring high-speed fiber optic Internet to 190 locations in Kirwin, including Camp Hansen. Thanks to the tremendous community support and pledges from the Coronado Area Council, BSA, Dane G. You may have woken up this morning without anticipating that airlines, banking, healthcare organizations, and other countless businesses around the world would be experiencing issues with their Windows products. But this is exactly what is happening as we enter into our Friday. CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company, is experiencing a major outage, affecting Windows computers worldwide. Insiders say this is not to be caused by a cyberattack, but rather a misconfigured/corrupted update that CrowdStrike pushed out to its customers. Nex-Tech does not utilize or provide CrowdStrike as a product, but we are seeing the effects of this outage impacting many of our customers, as well as some of our third-party systems.
