Pace invites you to attend Activate Joliet: A Celebration of Safety with Pace Bus on Saturday, August 3 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Joliet Transit Center. Supported by the RTA’s Station Activation Program, this free event features activities for all members of the family, including a touch-a-bus experience, free food, live music, and games! We look forward to showcasing our Joliet Transit Center, which went through an extensive renovation a few years ago. The center provides riders with convenient boarding and transfer locations, easy-to-access transit information, waiting areas, and a safe and efficient loop for buses. We hope to see you there on August 3!

Tip of the hat to Pace Suburban Bus, which will receive $30.9 million from FTA to buy more than 30 hybrid electric buses, upgrade its bus maintenance facility and provide workforce training to ensure drivers and mechanics are on board with the new technology.
