On Wednesday, the Volunteers of PRH presented a $100,000 gift to the PRH Foundation to establish the Volunteers of PRH Healthcare Careers Scholarship Endowment. With this incredible gift, the principle will live on perpetually and generate income to continue providing high school scholarships to students within our service area who will be pursing a career in healthcare. Last week we welcomed 10 children of PRH team members for National Take Your Child to Work Day. Participants shadowed their parents at work and participated in a fun afternoon with Education Manager, Chris DeLapp. During the afternoon session, they had a chance to take part in a snowball fight,, learn how to do hands-only CPR, take a tour of the building, enjoy ice cream and snacks from the Ridge Cafe, learn about proper hand hygiene, and take part in a virtual knee replacement surgery. A good time was had by all and we look forward to 2025.
