The PRG Outside Plant Damage investigation and recovery program covers them all.   While installing new fiber optic lines, a contractor had valid tickets for the majority of the neighborhood but began boring in a section with no locate requests. PRG has a proven track record of success for resolving damage claims effectively. After aerial line damage caused by a motor vehicle accident was reported, a PRG damage specialist obtained a copy of the accident report from the Saratoga County Sheriff's office and surveyed the scene. Due to the driver's brakes failing, the vehicle drove off the roadway, striking and snapping a utility pole. The driver escaped in time but the resulting fire caused damage to the vehicle, the aerial lines and the utility pole. Technicians responded and made the necessary repairs. Operator and vehicle failure were determined to be the root cause of the damage.
